Nurture yourself with the love that you have always longed for.

Tired of faking okay? It's safe to be real here.

You are worrying a lot, even about small things, and it’s hard to feel relaxed or happy. You are exhausted from taking care of other people and feeling like your needs and feelings are often ignored. You are tough on yourself, always thinking you are not good enough. Most days, you feel like you’re just getting by, not really living. You feel stuck, like you’re not sure how to make things better. You might not even remember a time when you are genuinely happy, but you know you want to start feeling better. You are ready to find help to make that happen.

Does this sound familiar?

You want to feel grounded and loved, but instead you feel:

  • Struggling accepting compliments and feel “I don't deserve them”

  • Misunderstood or alone in your relationships

  • Constantly worried about being cheated on or abandoned

  • Overwhelmed with racing thoughts and feeling restless

  • Guilt or shame about what happened in the past

  • Scared that you will disappoint people if you don’t always say “yes”

  • Like you have to hide your true self to be loved by others

Hi, I’m Dr. Yue.

Welcome! I am so glad you are here.

I’m a bilingual (Mandarin Chinese and English) psychologist who helps people overcome self-doubt, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship issues, immigrant stress, and other life challenges. Working with me goes beyond just sitting and talking. We will dive into your past experiences, including childhood, family and relational history, and examine how you’re cultural background and intersecting identities shape your current challenges. However, we don’t just stop at exploring the past, we will also focus on building a personalized toolbox of coping strategies that you can readily apply to your daily life.

Additionally, we will help you understanding your current patterns and transforming them to be more adaptive ones, which will help facilitate long-term changes in your life. This healing journey will guide you towards self-discovery, fostering self-compassion, feeling rejuvenated and confidence, and reconnecting with your true self.

Anxiety

You might often find yourself feeling nervous, restless, or overwhelmed in a variety of situations. Anxiety can show up as constant worrying, difficulty concentrating, or feeling like something bad is always about to happen. In therapy, you will learn how to manage anxiety and feel more in control and less overwhelmed, so you can enjoy your daily life with a sense of calm and peace.

Relationship Issues

You might notice that you're always arguing, not being heard, or feeling lonely in your relationships (e.g. romantic relationship, friendships, family, work places, etc.) Maybe you find it hard to trust people or worry about being hurt. We will learn better ways to communicate your needs and feelings, and truly connect with the people you care about. It’s about time that you feel valued and understood in the relationships.

Low self-esteem

Low self-esteem can look like being really hard on yourself, feeling like you're not good enough, or thinking you don't deserve others’ compliments and success. You might find yourself always comparing to others and feeling scared to try new things because you're afraid of failing. In therapy, you can start to feel better about yourself and feel that you're just as deserving of joy and happiness as anyone else.

Trauma

Trauma occurs when something bad and unexpected happens to you, and it hasn't been effectively processed. This can leave you feeling powerless and helpless, impacting your emotions, thoughts, and actions in your daily life. In therapy, we will work together to help you reclaim control over your life, paving the way for a future where you can truly flourish.

Women Mental Health

As a woman, you might experience challenges such as balancing work and family life, dealing with social expectations, or facing gender-based stress. You might find yourself feeling overwhelmed, struggling with low self-esteem, or experiencing anxiety and depression. We will work on understanding your feelings and needs, and provide you the tools you need to feel nurtured and empowered again.

Immigrant Stress

You might be facing challenges like adapting to a new culture and dealing with uncertainty about the immigration policy or your future. You might feel isolated from your local friends and family back home because they couldn’t related to your stress. These stressors can be overwhelming, but with the right tools and support, you can learn to cope effectively and find your peace in the uncertainty.
